Complimentary and substantial breakfast lots of meals.
My favorite property in Edmonton. Unbeatable location in Downtown Edmonton district just off centre of downtown and great restaurants. Exceptionally comfortable bed, large bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a refrigerator in the room. Private parking outside provided.

How it stacks up, my honest take
Friendly staff and really good service. Despite outdated decor, the clean and spacious rooms provided comfort. The location was convenient, but the hotel was undergoing some maintenance, a bit off-putting. Still, I enjoyed the fine views of the river valley. Worth considering if you're in downtown!

Marvellous breakfast option with sausage and bacon, as example. Marvellous location close enough to great restaurants, Shaw center and Shaw Conference Centre, only 5 minutes walk from a public art gallery. Also, close to where I had to go while in the area.

would be happy to recommend for a fleeting pause
Friendly staff, comfortable room, with a good breakfast included, really made our stay enjoyable as we easily accessed the hotel, just 0.5 km from Central transit.
There were no complaints .

The staff and accommodations were excellent!! Really enjoyed our stay
The only complaint that I have would be the service in the restaurant. We were in and out of meetings for two days. Quite often we would order our meals and barely have time to eat and get back to our next meeting. Not sure why the kitchen is so slow, but felt bad for the staff out front that had to deal with the unhappy customers that were waiting

The location is awesome. Close to everything
My bed was horrible. Every time I moved the bed creaked loudly. Even woke me up once. The bed my friend had was good. I thought it might break at one point.

Unexpected challenges, yet hopeful vibes
Waking up to a picturesque city view every morning was a good surprise. The staff were friendly and genuinely eager to help.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room couldn't be adjusted, leaving us a bit chilly at night. The parking fees added a significant cost to our stay.

We loved kayaking and water skiing nearby, such fun activities to enjoy the outdoors. The hotel was decent, but parking might be pricey at around $32 a night, so plan accordingly.

Location was good
Lots of add on costs over and above what the posted price was on Booked.net. I booked this hotel for my daughter and her partner as a gift and was disappointed to hear of the suboptimal service. I was also disappointed with my interaction with Marriott when I tried to sort out paying in advance with my credit card ... the hotel would not accept my card.. and my family ended up having to pay themselves... very embarrassing for me - I was told if I wanted to pay, I had to come to the hotel myself?! I would not recommend this hotel.

windows were filthy, and paid for parking should be explained at time of booking
